Show Report May 2009
Arriving at the show that morning to prepare for the day the sun was shining and bumper pre-entries made the day ahead look promising. The new secretarys caravan was packed ready to go. The show was a huge success with 100 ponies forward for the first show of the season.
It was nice to see a lot of new faces and ponies as well as I am sure some favourite ponies for all of us.
A big well done to all those that came and supported the show and well done to our supreme champion of the day, Miss Neave Stone riding J Walters Hayne Blackberry, produced by K & B Hodge.
A thank you to Mr & Mrs Griffiths for judging the Shetlands and to Mrs D Tyler-Davies for judging the American Miniatures/Spotted ponies.
This was the first show of the year, for the American Miniatures to have there own ckasses in the afternoon and thank you to all those that came and supported the classes.
I would also like to thank all those that offer their support throughout the day either by stewarding or helping prepare or take down the show.
I look forward to seeing everyone at the next show on Sunday 7th June
